Item Details

Description

This is an ultra rare butterscotch Bakelite 1920S Flapper purse from the living estate of Ailene & Buddy Ford; noted dealers and lifelong collectors of exceptional antique & vintage heirlooms. Take a look at the unusual fantastic purse. It 16.5 inches long with handle and tassel extended. The closure is two beads, one is stationary and one slides into a little slot on the other side, please open carefully, the hinge is just a little bit wobbly. When opened it has a gold framed oval mirror on one side and a floral lace trimmed double pocket on the other, perfect for touching up lipstick. It has a nylon rope handle and tassel with spacer beads on each end. There are bands of amber rhinestones on the top and bottom of the purse (one missing stone on the top band). I have not seen another one like it, don't let it get away! *** Weight: 4 oz. - Measurements: 16.5 x 2.75 x 2.75" ***
