Description
English ship's two-day chronometer signed, "Joseph Sewill 61 SO CASTLE ST LIVERPOOL, Maker to the Admiralty". Additionally bears a shipping company property stamp, "Hall LINE No 20". Silvered face with Roman numeral radial dial, outer minute track, blued steel heavy spade hour and minute indicator hands. Secondary dial with seconds hand. Down-up indicator dial. Chronometer rests on gilt brass gimbal, housed in fitted, glazed top locking wooden case with campaign style brass hardware. Accompanied by winding and lock key. In running condition. 6.7"H x 7.5"W x 7.2"D
