Description

VICTORIAN NETTED LACE BED COVER / CANOPY AND PANELS, LOT OF SIX, ivory, appliqued with tambour-type and various other embroidery patterns, cover/canopy in a large medial diamond-form with trailing floral and bow pattern as-made splits to two corners, simple scroll border, three sides with gathered and lightly ruffled border with straight edge, two matching panels; three panels with similar pattern and with additional heart-forms, each with a straight side. Late 19th/early 20th century. Bed cover/canopy 80" x 84", panels 30" x 83", 16" x 47", 18" x 47".
Provenance: From the Ed and Kay Winnick collection, Sidney, NY.

Condition

Very good to good condition, several scattered holes, stains and some deterioration.
