MANHATTAN BRASS CO. METAL SINGLE-ARM STUDENT LAMP, nickel-plate finish, vertical tank on adjustable central shaft, weighted foot. Fitted with a period setup comprising a central draft burner, and opaque white shade. Non-period colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th century. 20 5/8" HOA, 5 7/8" D foot, shade 5 1/8" H, 6 7/8" D fitter.

Provenance: From the collection of Maxine and the late Carlton Rinaca of Shenandoah, VA.

Condition

Lamp undamaged. Shade rim with a small shall chip to top edge which just minorly affects the profile and some roughness to another area, remaining setup articles undamaged.
