PATENTED KEROSENE BRACKET LAMP, colorless font with bar and diamond pattern, frosted finish, No. 2 brass collar, side-refill feature, base with socket, cast-iron bracket marked "PAT'D JAN' 31. 1871." and "PAT'D AUG 31, 1871", appropriate wall plate. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 2 slip burner, shade ring, cut and etched squat-form shade with foliage band, and a colorless chimney with serrated-scalloped top. Fourth quarter 19th century. Font 3 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 1/8" D base. Bracket 10" L. Shade 5" H, 5" D fitter.
