No. 879. A. Grubb (1801–1879) from the surroundings of Dublin, was an important, practical theorist, who did not earn the recognition that he deserved. Brass lens with collapsible front tube and attachment for washer stops (tube is missing). Focal length approx. 35 cm. Lens with imperfections. A rare lens!
