Item Details

Description

The frame sure looks like a Railroad Signal Lamp & Lantern to me. It has the distinctive reverse curve vertical wires and bail ears that are also RR Sig. It has a twist off bell. The brass top is is very nice. The bell comes off easily. The bell retaining clip was re-soldered at some point. The bell underside shows some discoloration that might be pin hole repairs. The frame does show a lot of pitting but no real damage. The globe is a very nice extended base model with PRR cast in fancy lettering across the center. It's a nice globe.
