Description
Pre-Columbian, Peru, Chimu/Inca, ca. 1100 to 1500 CE. Fascinating stone bolo used by natives in warfare and in capturing various animals. Ovoid form with central groove where a rope would have been attached. Stone appears to be hematite. Size: 3"L + lucite stand.
