A good L.S., with holograph subscription, Sir My Brother, Your Majesty's Good Brother, William R, as King, two pages, 4to, St. James's, 24th May 1832, to [Ferdinand II] the King of the Two Sicilies. King William IV states, in part, 'Having given permission to return to England to The Right Honourable William Noel-Hill, who resided for some years at the Court of Your Majesty's august Predecessor, as the Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of my late Royal Brother King George The Fourth, and who has continued to execute the duties of that mission up to the present period, I have thought proper to notify the same to Your Majesty, and also the termination of Mr. Hill's mission….I beg leave to assure Your Majesty that I shall lose no time in accrediting to Your Majesty a minister who, I hope, will be equally agreeable to Your Majesty. I trust that the manner in which Mr. Hill has executed his official functions will have merited the approbation of Your Majesty, and that you will graciously permit him to take his leave….'
