Alice Stone Blackwell (1857-1950) Feminist, journalist. Blackwell was the daughter of Henry Brown Blackwell and Lucy Stone. She was an editor of the Woman's Journal, the major publication of the women's rights movement at that time. 10 ¼" x 5 ¼" stock certificate for a share of stock in The Proprietors of the Women's Journal, October 31, 1910, signed as president. Small water stain affects the "ll" of her signature.
