Two NY State 19th century advertising printed broadsides on cloth including Albany NY "JAMES MCKINNEY, IRON FOUNDER" - 21" x 16" - Mr. McKinney, as a young man, learned his trade in NYC during the mid-19th century and later moved to Albany opening his foundry with a partner, Mr. Adams - Later the partnership was dissolved and James McKinney opened his own iron works company and later moved to the address on the advertisement, circa 1868 where he specialized in building ornaments; The second broadside from Milton NY is printed "THE CELEBRATED Heidielburgh Portable HURDLE FENCE ….. F.T. RHOADES, MILTON ULSTER CO., N.Y." - 18" X 17.5". Mr Rhoades was in business during third quarter of the 19th century. Both broadsides are in excellent unused condition.
