Late 19th/early 20th century, with a stepped and gilt bronze-molded pediment over a serpentine body flanked by foliate agricane-headed mounts, faced with a hinged and glazed locking cabinet door enclosing a single shelf, over a floral marquetry inlaid drop-front cabinet revealing an inset brown leather writing surface before an open cabinet over two rows of two short band-front drawers, raised overall on cabriole legs terminating in foliate hoof feet, 69'' H x 32'' W x 17'' D, est: $5000/7000
Condition
Overall good condition. General light marks, scratches and spots of oxidation to gilt bronze commensurate with age. Scattered minor shrinkage cracks to veneer, the largest running the length of each marquetry decorated side panel with corresponding repairs. Lacking key and shelves.
