Generally good condition. Pearl bead lattice at front bodice and sleeves is generally good. There are traces of organza panel which would have backed the bodice lattice. Pearl ‘girdle’ is also good, lacking a few strands from the tassels. Skirt front- generally good but one small brown stain and a few faint discolorations. Perspiration stains at underarms. White silk bodice lining is generally good. Pres-stud fasteners at centre back of skirt opening and bodice side closure are modern. Waist stay has been lengthened by un-stitching the original return and moving the hook and eye. I think the line of the waist has been raised by about 2cm- but no evidence of any seam changes anywhere. Skirt and bodice are generally good. Soiling and faint discolouration to train hem area and underskirt of dress rear hem also.
