A Liberty & Co Ltd embroidered and beaded turquoise silk bodice, circa 1900, with 'Artistic & Historic Costume Studio, 222 Regent St., London', the boned bodice of ribbed silk crêpe, adorned with panels embroidered with shamrocks in seed beads, pearls and turquoise stones, similarly edged floating chiffon sleeves; with matching beaded and tasselled girdle belt, bust 86cm, 34in (2)

Generally good condition. Very faint small brown discolouration to rear. Remarkably fresh condition. Interior is good. Ribbon tape binding to draw-string at neck and waist edge is worn. Label on waist-stay is fresh. Very faint soil mark on front buckle (minor). Girdle belt is good condition, very fresh, a couple of the pearl strands could be re-threaded (minor).
