A Hardy Amies grey wool day suit, circa 1950, with '14 Savile Row' label, comprising: sleeveless dress with white piqué insert, pleats to hem and cuffs, fitted jacket with lightly padded hips, bust 92cm, 36in, waist 66cm, 26in (2)

Jacket – good condition, slight discolouration to lining at rear neck area and centre back hem (minor). Dress – grey wool dress good condition, white piqué panel has been replaced but done well. Slight soiling to it on top edge and lipstick marks inside. Perspiration stains at underarms on cotton lining. A little notch has been cut out from a sleeve return. One underarm seam has been re-sewn – but there do not appear to be any alterations.
