Western Caspian Basin, Iran, ca. 1000 BCE. Rare and desirable bronze dagger. Thin in form with long tapered blade, small crescent decoration where blade joins handle, flared grip once holding some form of inlay. Size: 12-1/2" L.
Provenance: Ex-Estate of John Piscopo. Mr. Piscopo was one of the largest collectors of ancient weapons in the US with a collection that spanned all cultures, all ages.
