Finely open carved Chinese White Jade standing on its branching stem and leaves which overlay Buddha's hand Citroen. Faces upward. The Buddha's hand citron (Citrus Chirocarpus) derives its Chinese name FoShou and the alternative English name of "Finger Citron" from its odd shape. It symbolizes "Much Happiness" and is used as an offering for the altar during the Chinese New Year. The Jade stone carving is smooth.
Having a moist milky appearance with even tone creme-celadon iridescent. Beautiful sporadic golden-russet inclusion of nature fissures surrounded o the surface.
Displayed elegantly upon elaborately carved hardwood stand.
