Peggy Bacon (American, 1895-1987), "Aesthetic Pleasure"-1936, drypoint etching on laid paper, pencil signed lower right margin, titled lower left margin, from an edition of 174 produced by Associated American Artists (AAA), New York. Modern figural print depicting a group of men and women admiring framed portraits in a gallery or museum setting as they listen to a docent discuss the work in front of them. Framed approximately 15.5" x 19". Sight size approximately 6.9" x 9.125". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia. Reference: Flint 126.
