Maker’s mark, silver standard mark, city mark, duty mark and date letter on the underside; hallmarked again on the underside of the lid and on the knob

A typical Victorian teapot
The teapot has a bulbous form and stands on four scroll and shell decorated feet. The body and the lower sides of the swan-necked spout show an engraved floral and scroll decoration, including two vacant cartouches to either side of the teapot. The teapot has a curved rim and a domed hinged lid, engraved with arabesques and fitted with an acorn knob. The fluted C scroll handle is embellished with stylized acanthus leafs.
Condition:
The teapot is in a very good condition apart from minor wear marks. The height, including the lid, is 21 cm, while the weight is about 750 g. (cko)
