An early 20th century ruby scorpion brooch. Designed as an oval star ruby and ruby cabochon body, with circular-shape sapphire eyes and textured tail. Length 6.9cms. Weight 5.7gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Rubies medium slightly purplish pinkish-red, fair saturation, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
