American, likely 19th century. Military brass three valve cornet musical instrument with rounded tubes culminating in horn with winged eagle under undulating ribbon with motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (Out of Many, One) above shield, eagle holding olive branch and arrows. Overall approximately 5.5" x 9.25"
