MoPac Brasstop Bellbottom Lantern Clear Cast

Item Details

Description

A Handlan Buck brasstop bellbottom lantern frame with large MoPac stamped on the removable bell. The brass top has the Handlan Buck manufacturing markings. The metal has pitting but no rot. The frame is straight. There is a serial number of what might be "B533383" stamped in the panel on the bell. It has a brass burner and the bell comes off easily. There is no wheel on the end of the wick adjusting shaft.

The globe is a Corning style non-extended base with MP cast in an oval panel on one side and SAFETY FIRST cast on the reverse side. There is some soot in the recesses of the globe that make photography easy. It's just soot and could be cleaned out.
