Description
Germany, Bavaria, 16th to 17th century. Large pair of turned brass "pricket" candlesticks. Each resting on 3 recumbent lions with tiered sections, large upper pan and central pricket to hold the actual candle. Lovely old patina! Size: 11.5" H (29.2 cm)
Provenance: Ex-Paul and Louise Bernheimer, Cambridge, MA and Laguna Woods, CA, acquired before 1980.
