1st-3rd century AD. A mixed group of glass vessels comprising: a conical green-tinted body with tall neck, flared rim; a conical ribbed body with eccentric rim; a cosmetic bottle with low body with dimpled base, broad neck, rolled rim; a cosmetic bottle with iridescent body with dimple to the base and four to the sidewall, rolled rim; a squat pale blue body with flared mouth, applied rim, strap handle; a squat hexagonal-plan jar with flared neck, rolled rim. Property of an American gentleman; acquired on the London art market in the 1990s. See Whitehouse, D.
