ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY TEA ARTICLES, LOT OF TEN, comprising a London-shaped teapot, creamer, teacup and two saucers, each with pink lusterware bands alternating with bands of black leaves and green and black stylized foliate bands, attributed to Wolfe; a large, two-handled covered sugar bowl and creamer, painted with pink lusterware bands surrounding brightly-colored bands of stylized flowers; a pink teacup with lusterware decoration featuring the coronation of Queen Victoria with Prince Albert by her side; a pink lusterware teacup, bat-printed with children and their dog, called "The Favorites"; and a sepia-printed teabowl with children at play with squirrel and dog. Unmarked. Circa 1820-1840. 7 1/4" HOA, the sugar bowl.
Condition
The teapot with a Y-shaped crack to side, and stained, the creamer with light crack to spout and foot and stained, the first teacup with a shallow firing flaw to foot, the sugar bowl and creamer with hairline cracks to rims, and stained, the commemorative cup and the sepia printed cup both with light hairline cracks to rims.
