AMERICAN GRIFFIN, SMITH & HILL MAJOLICA "SUNFLOWER" FOOTED COMPOTE, petal-molded form, with molded stems and flower heads to the sides, painted in green, yellow, pink and white, the interior well painted pink. Impressed mark to foot. Circa 1880-1895. 5 1/4" H, 9" D.

Condition
Good condition, with a shallow rim chip to one petal edge, and with typical roughness to a few tips of the upper rim, very slight firing crack to bowl well interior.
