Description
Lot of 2 mid to late 19th C. Meiji period Japanese carved ivory Okimono figural groups sizes includes: 1 1/2" (height) x 3 1/2" (length) x 1 3/4" (width) & artist signed 2" (height) & 2 1/2" (length) x 1 3/4" (width). CONDITION: 1 1/2" has front portion of left side broken off & reglued, with loss on front portion of left foot of attached figure. 2" has cracked & reglued fruit piece in left hand. NO INTERNATIONAL OR CALIFORNIA SHIPPING. The ivory in this item complies with the Endangered Species Act 1973 which are currently the law in the United States. It is our opinion that this item was made before 1973 and that the ivory has not been altered and is legal to sell in the United States unless your state has additional restrictions.
Condition
1 1/2" has front portion of left side broken off & reglued, with loss on front portion of left foot of attached figure. 2" has cracked & reglued fruit piece in left hand.
