Description
circa 1855, Bristol, CT. ripple-molded rosewood veneer case houses thirty-day wagon spring movement. H25" W17" Note: This Atkins clock used the Ives patent movement under a license agreement with Joseph Ives. This exact clock is pictured in "The Book of American Clocks" by Brooks Palmer, fig. 239 & 240.
Condition
Dial, movement and wagon spring mechanism original to clock. Small veneer chip at bottom of case left side and behind bezel at 10 o'clock. Overall very good condition and running in the gallery, however we do not guarantee timepieces to be operational after they leave the gallery.
