Description
Ancient Near East, Holyland - Levant, ca. 800 to 400 BCE. Nice pair of pottery vessels from the period just before the Roman empire conquered this region. First, small olpe or pitcher with added red stripes and small loop handle. Next is a salt dish of a form similar to those found in ancient Greece. Size: 4.125" H (10.5 cm) for Olpe.
