Description

Restigouche model 423 size 6/0 with 7 position rotating drag adjuster and pointer mounted on the front plate. This reel bears the Sep 2, 1879 patent on the drag adjustment wheel and the Jan 23, 1883 patent date on the rear sliding oil port cap. Includes German silver safety bands, double roller bars, rear mounted click, counter balanced "S" handle, full length unaltered foot, 4 1/4" diameter and marked on the foot "423" "6/0" with serial No "E168". Excellent minus original condition with no cracks or chips in the hard rubber. Comes with a perfect fitting Excellent minus leather reel case marked "Mills, New York on the bottom with initials BGW on an oval brass tag affixed to the top.
