Coming with very intricately detailed hardware fittings and an unusual thumb screw handle lock (likely a replacement), this reel has great eye appeal. Includes a back mounted click switch and wear compensating bearing cap and is stamped on the face plate "Julius vom Hofe's Patent Nov. 17, 85". The only detraction is some filing on the forward edges of the foot otherwise this is a solid Excellent minus reel.
