UNITED STATES, 19TH CENTURY

A fine example of a 19th century American primitive pantry box. The box still retains its original light green paint and displays beautifully. The box shows superior period construction with the use of iron nails.
It is one of a collection of six fine painted pantry boxes and bail handle buckets from a Cape Cod, MA estate.
5 9/16" by 4 1/4" by 2 1/4"

Condition

Exceptional green wash color, original surface, dry and old iron nails shows beautiful patina.
