Silver medal depicting standing Hibernia with sword, wolfhound and harp in shamrock border, IRELAND AS SHE OUGHT TO BE. Rev. Trio of clasped hands, radiant cross, Liberty Pole. Silver, 34.8mm. 18 grams. Grip suspender in shape of an Eastern Crown with swivel loop. By I. Parkes. BHM 1268. Order was founded by Daniel O’Connell to promote concord among all classes of Irishmen seeking Repeal of the Union, dissolved 1835. Extremely Fine condition
