Description

Signed by famous clockmaker, "Charles R. Sligh, Limited Edition, a spectacular tall case or grandfather clock. The solid cherry case is accented with inlaid ebony and flame grain mahogany banding and marquetry inlay. All glass panes are beveled, doors open with original signed brass keys. The polished finish is impeccable on this top of the line Georgian design furniture.
Nine nickel chime tubes softly play the familiar Westminster melody from Big Ben on Parliament in London. The resonant tune plays on each quarter and the hour is also counted. There are controls to play St. Michael and Whittington melodies as well, plus "silent" and "night off" controls.
