History: Tom Bostelle was born in 1921 in West Chester, PA. He attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and in 1947 had his first one-man exhibition. He has exhibited extensively in New York, Washington, DC and Philadelphia. In New York City he has had one-man shows at Faragil Inc., Hewitt Gallery and Bianchini Galleries. His work has been show publicly at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor; the Museum of Modern Art in Paris; Spoleto Music Festival in Italy; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; Corcoran Gallery Loan Library, Washington,DC and the Baltimore Museum Loan Library in Baltimore, MD.
