19TH C SEVRES STYLE SIGNED PORCELAIN VASE ORMOLUA tall and elegant 19th c. French, Sevres style bolted vase with Ormolu mounts. The vase, bolted in three parts and hand-painted cartouches on each side, both bordered in gilded C-scrolls, flowers and beading. One side depicts two lovers in a landscape, signed illegibly (Luca-?) and the opposing side is painted with a landscape scene all upon a cobalt blue body. The vase is bolted through the center raising the vase upon a ormolu pedestal and connecting it to double-handles finely cast with masks and floral swags . 25.75"h, 65.40cm.
PROVENANCE: From the amassed lifetime collection of the Living Estate of elegant world-traveled European gentlewoman.
Condition
No cover, body free of cracks and restorations, small pitting noted by signature 2cm x 2cm and 1cm x 1cm. Missing internal bolt for one handle at face mount.
