A cut leaf bearing the signature of Ernest Shackleton mounted in cream and black trim with a black and silver framed with a vintage image of the explorer. The signature is in fine condition and the paper has been cut with varied angles and there is a line of dirt across the upper part of the signature not affecting it and this is mounted as seen and overall a very nice Historical piece and even more so as this is the centenary for Shackleton.Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton CVO OBE FRGS was a polar explorer who led three British expeditions to the Antarctic, and one of the principal figures of the period known as the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration.
