Offered here, the 1952 reprint is a faithful facsimile of the seventeenth century edition, even incorporating the blind-stamping technique of gauffrage where a dry woodblock is pressed into the paper to create a subtle, low-relief design

The booklets are in good condition with only slight signs of age and wear. The inside of the slipcase with yellowing at the edges, silk surface as well as the label worn and the silk ribbon of the upper closure torn. Each booklet measures 31.5 x 21.5 cm.
