Lorenzo E. Ghiglieri (American, b. 1931- ), "The Need for Buffalo", patinated bronze sculpture, signed on base and limited edition noted "6/36". Large American West bronze figural sculpture depicting a Native American Indian wearing leather loincloth riding on a galloping muscular horse, fixed gaze on three large buffalo as he aims with a bow and arrow, figures on integral naturalistic rocky base above a shaped wooden plinth. Overall approximate height 22.5", width 39.75", depth 19.25".

Condition

Overall good condition. Dust and grime throughout, may benefit from light cleaning. All elements apparently present. No apparent losses or repairs.
