ENGLISH TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising one tea bowl and saucer and one small, molded pitcher, printed in blue, having a hunting dog on one side and a dog chasing a hare on the opposite. Impressed "CLEWS / WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" on pitcher. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, Staffordshire. Circa 1825. Tea bowl 2 1/4" H, saucer 5 3/4" D, pitcher 4 5/8" H.
Very good condition, the tea bowl with some staining and a professionally-restored rim chip, minor flakes, and two short manufacturing cracks on pitcher.
