Description
Ming Dynasty Chinese Sino-Tibetan gilt Bronze Buddha, a Bodhisattvas figure model of Tara, with a smiling face and beautiful to behold, the female form described in Indian literature and seen in classical temple art is the model for female deities and mother goddesses worshiped throughout the Himalayas. They appear with long narrow eyes below thin eyebrows, long hair arranged atop the head with some falling loose across the shoulders, narrow waist, seated in a leisurely posture, with one leg extended forward upon a double lotus throne pedestal. Her right hands lowered in varada and left hand raised in vitarka mudra, wearing a foliate crown and ornate jewelry.
The underside with incised Quadre-foil flori-form petals Visvavajra mark surrounded the centralized DaiJi.

Condition
Excellent condition, with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent. Surface traced wear to gilding. Normal, considering ages and wears.
