Finely cast bronze of Bodhisattva Buddha figure of Manjhusri. Seated in royal-ease position, with one leg extended forward upon a demountable pedestal. Having his weight on his left arm, that pushed down upon an everted bar handle; right hand resting on the knee in Bumipharsa-Mudra. Hair is piled in a topknot, some falling loose across the shoulders, tied with flowers. Lightly adorned with gold earrings and a choker necklace. He wears a lower garment with even-folds covering the legs, a silk scarf is draped over the figure body, entwined around both arms, flow down terminating the scrolling end.
Trace of gilt, with dark-brown molted patina.
The underside with incised Quadre-foil flori-form petals visvavajra mark surrounded the centralized DaiJi.

Excellent condition, with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent. Normal, considering ages and wears.
