Pre-Columbian, Northern Peru, Moche III, ca. 400 to 600 CE. Hard not to smile when you see this happy fellow! Pottery stirrup spouted vessel depicting the head of a dignitary. Strong facial features, large smile and headband across his forehead. Red painted surface. Size: 8.5" H (21.6 cm)
