Description
Ancient Greece, Canosan colonies in South Italy, 4th to 3rd centuries BCE. This is a small pottery amulet, recognizable as Canosan Greek by its style and the dusky pink color of the pottery, that is in the form of a seated pegasus with wings folded behind its long neck. The face and front legs have clear details. Size: 2.55" L x 0.6" W x 2.1" H (6.5 cm x 1.5 cm x 5.3 cm)
