This grouping of antique photos includes the following:1) Black and white, Sepia tone vintage photo of a Military grouping outdoors. Many ethnic groups of the Russian Empire appear to be represented, Cossacks, Caucasians, Georgians and others proudly surrounding what appears to be their field communications equipment. This photo is believed to be from a date just prior to the Russian Revolution of 1905. Size Matt 15 3/4 in by 12 1/4 in and Image 10 3/4 by 8 1/ inches. Condition matt has a water stain upper left corner and stray marks from age. Image has a small 1/4 in or less hole at center of equipment grouping on table. 2) An outdoor photo of Eleven Russian Military Officers young and in what appears to be winter warm uniforms. This framed black and white photo measures 10 1/8 by 8 1/2 image and 13 1/2 by 11 1/2 in the frame. Some of these young faces seem to look out again after several years from the photo in # 3. Condition of both frame and photo are very good, no known issues.3) An Officers group photo in a Parlor room setting. Fourteen older Russian Military officers in dress uniforms , many with their presentation swords. It appears that several of the individuals who posed for the photo group seen in #2 of this lot are also seen again in this group at a later age. This early 20th century photo is printed in black and white on a stiff paper board and measures 11 in by 14 inches. Condition some age related rubbing and wear at corners. Image appears intact and sepia tone is related to age of photo.
