Contemporary, the first: made by Catherine Herrold Troeh, Chinook tribe, inscribed fabric label verso, applied felt and button eagle on a blue woolen ground, within a red woolen button-embellished border; the second: signed lower right ''FH'', button mask motif on a blue woolen ground, within a button-embellished latticework and red ribbon border, 2 pieces, the first: 4' H x 5'10.5'' W; the second: 4'3'' H x 3'4.5'' W, est: $300/500

Condition

Each in overall good condition. The first with two buttons deficient, two approximately 2'' losses to white felt feathers and a few scattered minor nicks to buttons. The second with scattered minor breaks to latticework border.
