Description
ENGLISH FLOW BLUE LUSTRE CERAMIC PITCHERS, LOT OF THREE, having molded foliate designs, woman warding off a wolf on one, and molded face on the spout of another, with blue coloring and copper lustre, molded handles. Two marked for Charles Allerton & Sons, otherwise unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Second half 19th century. 6 1/2" to 7" H.
Provenance: Property from the private collection of Audrey "Dolly" and the late William "Billy" Journell, Leesburg, VA.
One with hairline cracks on base, otherwise only expected glaze crazing.
