Mid-19th century, Hanau, with maker's marks of J.D. Schleissner & Sohne and additional pseudo marks, the bowl apparently unmarked, the oblong scalloped cut-glass bowl with etched rocaille decoration, within a pierced festooned surround flanked by standing winged figures and seated putti, on rocaille bracket feet, 6.75'' H x 21.25'' W x 11'' D, 62.815 oz troy approximately, est: $1500/2500

Condition
Overall good condition with general minor rubbed wear and tarnishing commensurate with age. Repairs to flanking garlands. Bowl with scattered nicks and chips, including a 1''-long area of concentrated chipping to edge. Weight does not include cut glass bowl.
