Circa 1883, Rococo-revival, the inset oval white Italian marble top within a carved acanthus-molded surround issuing elaborately carved and pierced ribbon-tied fruiting garlands joined by four armorial plaques, one centering a shield, one centering the monogram ''MB'' over ''1883'', one centering a crowned coat of arms, and one centering the lion-flanked coat of arms of Chablais, Savoy, inscribed to lower banner ''Chablais'', raised on a carved post support in the form of a basket issuing a floral and fruit bouquet, atop a lion mask-adorned column issuing outswept acanthus and rocaille-carved scrolling legs with portrait heads at the knees, on scroll feet, 31'' H x 59'' W x 41'' D, est: $2000/3000
