A thank-you letter with the handwritten signature of the Rebbe Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov to the philanthropist Rabbi Moshe David Strom, on his efforts towards a new building for the Sanz institutions. New York, 1966.
The Rebbe Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov (1908-2000), the son of the Rebbe Rabbi Ben Zion Halberstam, the third Rebbe of Bobov, a scion of the exalted Sanz dynasty, miraculously survived the Holocaust, made his way to New York where he rehabilitated the Chassidut and built it and its institutions throughout the world.
